Catholic Charities and Cafe Berlin are hosting a Refugee Community Showcase! Join for an evening of music, poetry, story-telling and more.

Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri is the official refugee resettlement agency in Mid-Missouri. Each year, the Refugee and Immigration Services, CCCNMO office in Columbia resettles an average of 137 refugees a year. All proceeds from this event will be used to help resettle new refugees in the Mid-Missouri area. 

Admission is suggested $10 donation/sliding scale. All are welcome!

-Ahmed, local refugee and rababa musician

-Anand Prahlad, poet, mbira musician, folkloris, & educator

-Milbre Burch, grammy-nominated and internationally know oral-storyteller. 

-One Mic, Spoken word collective based out of Columbia, MO. Founded in 2014 by T'Keyah Thomas and Andrew Hutchinson.
